FOUNDER OF REUZEL | Rob picked up a pair of clippers when he was 14 years old to screw up his first haircut in a long line of many screwed up haircuts to come. Always believing in the punk D.I.Y. ethos and the school of hard knocks that teaches that class, he knew Barbering was his passion once those first hairs hit the floor of his parent’s home.

FOUNDER OF REUZEL | Born and raised in the south of the Lowlands, Leen picked up his first pair of clippers at 14 while working a holiday job and found that his lack of social skills left plenty of room for the technical side of Barbering. A famous barber from the silver screen once said, “Me? I don’t talk much, I just cut the hair”, and that’s what he has done ever since.

FOUNDER OF UPPERCUT DELUXE | Born for the ol’skool, not for high school, Steve Purcell flew the coop at age 15 to pursue a trade in barbering. At 23 he started his own barbershop, Bare Bones – 6 months he later changed the ‘men’s grooming’ game when he launched Uppercut Deluxe with their cult product, Deluxe Pomade. Fifteen years on, Uppercut is a household name in the Australian Barbering Industry, but Steve assures us it’s only just getting started.

He is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with others, from barbering business to marketing and video editing tips.

Doing education for companies such as Paul Mitchell The School, John Paul Mitchell Systems, JRL, and Hattori Hanzo. From South Africa, to Italy, Spain, China, Taiwan, and United States, Fern has traveled the world educating stylist’s and barbers on how to elevate their techniques in haircutting and increase revenue by becoming more efficient behind the chair. Because of his knowledge and experience, Fern was involved in the creation of the Barbering program for all Paul Mitchell Schools.
